Financial Policies

Please contact your insurance company to verify your coverage.

Services may include a consultation, x-ray, extraction or other treatment that is deemed necessary. All co-pays, co-insurance, and the fee for service is due in full on the day of service.

Please remember that any payment made towards your account is only an estimate or portion of what insurance will not pay.  It is not unusual to receive a bill from our office after insurance has paid their portion. For your convenience, we accept cash, Visa, MasterCard, Discover and Care Credit. We do not accept personal checks. We are nonparticipating with Medicare, United Healthcare Medical plans, Tricare medical plans and Maryland Medicaid plans. If you have a nonparticipating insurance, please expect to pay in full the same day of service. All others should call their insurance company to verify coverage.

We will submit your insurance claim to your Primary insurance companies as a courtesy to you. If processing of your claim has been delayed we request your assistance in expediting the process. Please be sure to read your insurance booklet and forms carefully. If you are in doubt as to whether your procedure is covered, please check with your insurance.

Most insurance companies will respond within four to six weeks. Any remaining balance after your insurance has paid is your responsibility. Your prompt remittance is appreciated.

If you have questions regarding your account, please contact your insurance company or our billing office. Many times, a simple telephone call will clear up any misunderstandings.
